How so?

Not all parts of the game are intuitive, and it can be pretty frustrating at times... Knowing what skills each class develops and what weapons they can handle is great to know, but unless you want to spend the next few weeks playing this game nonstop you can't just guess your way into knowing which weapons work well with which classes and what mods go well with what, etc. I used to think chickens were worthless, but apparently in the endgame they can become your only source of income. These things are nice to know beforehand so you don't have to waste massive amounts of time figuring it out for yourself.

This game is fucked.

What's the point of leveling up if your damage doesn't increase? That's one of my biggest complaints.

Also at the same time, you can increase your ability's like accuracy (#), anti-armor (#) etc. which increases your effectiveness with the weapons.

...If you managed to fend off a bunch of thugs trying to mug you IRL, thanks to the knife you happen to normally keep with you, you wouldn't expect the knife to become better or sharper, but you would become more effective at using it (faster, more accurate etc.), and the practice would also make it easier for you to fight with other types of knife.

The Auto Shotgun can only get you so far.

In the beginning though, I kept getting fucked over because one chicken throws an egg. ONE. EGG.
